Thank you, driver of the 17:10 Edinburgh to Deans South bus, for this evening’s lesson in ‘what not to expect from a FustBus employee’. Courtesy, consideration, helpfulness and simple human decency are a few of the things one should not look for. To do so will only result in heartache and sad disappointment.
When the FustBus employee is involved in timetabling the wise traveller should not expect foresight, regard for bus-users well-being or the ability to examine the wider picture. Finally, when dealing with those sweet souls employed with FustBus Customer Services, the one thing you should never expect – the last thing the innocent, wide-eyed enquirer is ever likely to encounter – is ANY form of customer service… ever.
Of course there are a few exceptions. So few that I have nothing but feelings of pity for the tiny handful of normal, decent, friendly drivers who work for this abominable company. I know in my soul that they will one day be broken on the ever turning wheel of wilful stupidity in the heartless pursuit of profit.
Oh driver of the 17:10 Edinburgh to Deans South bus, if Hell exists, I know that the hottest corner, the sharpest spikes and the cruelest racks are reserved for petty, nasty little jobsworths such as yourself. Oh, how richly you deserve it.
