Winter light (50 words)

Boxing Day, known as Là an Dreathain (Day of the Wrens) in Gaelic. Today, walking in the woods, I saw no wrens but other small birds hopped through branches lit by the low, orange tinted, winter sun. I savoured that warmth of colour, somewhat lacking in heat though it was.



100 day geochaching challenge – Day12 cache: Ex-Bridge A quick dash at the end of the day to pick up this cache. These lovely primroses were growing right on top of it.
